A little about us; Our home-based family owned/operated professional grooming & boarding suites facility is nestled on over 3 acres of beautiful countryside.
We are dedicated to being your dogs home away from home, as well as consistently providing happy, & beautifully groomed pets.
All of our staff are trained & certified in Pet First Aid & CPR, & stay up to date on the latest techniques in grooming & pet care with attendance at professional conferences & seminars.

About The Dapper Dog Staff
Kathleen Rinn
Kathleen is the owner of The Dapper Dog LLC, she has over 25 years of grooming & pet care experience. She graduated from the Connecticut K9 Education Center in Newington, CT in 1991 & founded The Dapper Dog in 1994. Kathleen lovingly refers to all of her canine customers as “babies”, & she is well known for treating each & every animal as if they were her own pet.
Victoria Bogosian
Kathleen’s daughter, Victoria, is a bathing & grooming assistant in our salon, as well as a staff member of our boarding suites. She has played an important role in the business throughout her life & has over 6 years of experience in pet care & canine bathing. Currently in her 4th year of college with a major of Graphic Design, Victoria utilizes her graphics skills to create & design all social media & advertising for The Dapper Dog.
Chantal Collett
Chantal graduated from grooming school in 2009. She then began her year long apprenticeship here at The Dapper Dog with Kathleen in 2011, and in 2012 we welcomed her as a member of our Dapper Dog Staff.
